When I consult with my clients this is their number one struggle!
Not one of them eats enough protein!
Protein is an important component of every cell in the body.
Your body used protein to build and repair tissues and to make enzymes, hormones and other body chemicals.
Protein is an important building block of bones, muscles cartilage, skin & blood.
Protein helps our bodies repair and grew stronger.
Protein helps promote saeity(the feeling of fullness).
Eating more protein can lead to increased fat loss
How much is 'enough'?
There are various factors to consider but ideally we should be aiming for 1.4 - 2.2g per kilo of bodyweight, and aiming for the higher end of the scale if we are participating in resistance training ie lifting weights!
